Fango Bollente - Alfredo Ciarpelloni.jpg
Alfredo Ciarpelloni in Fango bollente (1975)
Alfredo Ciarpelloni, called "Er Banzo", was a roman cinema worker, that is one of those who often contributed, without specific credit, to the making of a film taking care of a technical aspect.

Thanks to his ruggedly roman face and robustly built body size, he was used for small appearances in many Italian films, typically as temperamental and physically threatening characters.

It seems he passed away around 2015.

The earliest role I've found for him is Fellini - Block notes di un regista (1969) where he appears as a Roman actor who plays a gladiator (together with Ennio Antonelli) in a scene for Fellini.

A memorable little part in Fango bollente (1975) as a cement truck driver that Joe Dallesandro and his buddies nearly crash with, leading to a violent fight with deadly consequences

This is certainly his best known role as it appears in a cult film of Italian comedy: Un sacco bello (1980). His role is that of a stretcher-bearer at the hospital who cynically with his colleagues welcomes a friend of Verdone suffering from spasmodic pains and stalling making diagnosis by reading the newspaper.

His part continues after a while, when he continues with a brief comic line.

And credited as "segretario di produzione"

He is one of the Calabrians who is assassinated by Henry Silva's men with a shot in the face (off screen).

In a sketch from the television show Bla Bla Bla (2005), where he takes part in a mini parody of "Million Dollar Baby", with Gegia and Bruno Bernardini.

Perdiamoci di vista (1994) as Taxi driver who brings Arianna home
Still a small gag with Verdone, in which he repeatedly takes and returns Asia Argento in Verdone's arms - because she is capricious - before taking her home.

Incensurato, provata disonestà, carriera assicurata, cercasi (1972) as a bar patron, seen in the background playing cards

Later, he and the rest of the bar patrons are seen protesting during a political convention
