Re: Attilio Dottesio
La Certosa di Parma (1948) as Ferrante Palla.
The gorgeous DVD release of the French version does have very few acting credits, probably omitting the Italian supporting cast because they were not known to French audiences. Looking around for an Italian version, it seems this film was presented very differently in Italy and France. The French DVD runs almost 3 hours and I'm assuming this is how it was originally released in France. In Italy, however, it was split into two films, just like the same year's I miserabili and Il fiacre n°13. The first part is called La Certosa di Parma - I° episodio "L'ombra del patibolo", which I've not been able to find. I did, however, find the second part called La Certosa di Parma - II° episodio "Amanti senza speranza" and Attilio is indeed credited. (Johan) Thanks to Johan for finding the credit

Re: Attilio Dottesio
Il tradimento (1951) as Doctor Bianchini.
This is the earliest instance I've found so far where Attilio plays what would become his signature role, that of a doctor.
