Well it's not that I don't accept Bill's memory, but I wouldn't trust my own memory 100% for a label I recalled seeing on a photo I saw at an exhibition many years ago, unless I took a photo of it myself - and even then there's no guarantee that the labelling was correct since there would have been no way to check it back then (or indeed now!) - so with only the one credit and no other ways of confirming the ID I would think the identification can only be considered as an unconfirmed possibility.carlos wrote: ↑21/10/2023, 18:34The "(and dis-credit of Santiago)" for me is based on the only other credit I could find for Santiago. The actor ID'd by Bill as Rodriguez doesn't appear in that one. As for Rodriguez, it's based on Bill's ID as I haven't found anothe,r other in Per qualche dollaro in più. So you don't accept Bill's memory? That's OK, but I think the ID of Santiago is suspect from the other forum.

Please note that the guys at Western Maniac identify both this way:
- Luis Rodriguez: https://western-maniac.forum-pro.fr/t67 ... +Rodriguez
- Enrique Santiago (as given before): https://western-maniac.forum-pro.fr/t20 ... t=santiago
- Luis Rodriguez: https://western-maniac.forum-pro.fr/t67 ... +Rodriguez

Unfortunately they give no explanation of how the "Enrique Santiago" ID was arrived at, so there is only the word of the person who made the post that it is him. With nothing to back up the ID it is somewhat less conclusive than the possible ID of this actor as RodriguezFatmanDan wrote: ↑21/10/2023, 19:21Please note that the guys at Western Maniac identify both this way:

A new conspiracy theory! I'm wondering if the guard may in fact not be Rodriguez or Santiago, but could actually be Cristino Almodóvar? Almodóvar has a mole beneath the left side of his mouth, a lump beneath the right side and a dimple between his eyebrows, all of which the guard seems to have. Any opinions?FatmanDan wrote: ↑21/10/2023, 19:21Please note that the guys at Western Maniac identify both this way:

There's still one question: Who, then, is Enrique Santiago, who's credited in Leone films and more?

I think we do have Juanita Menendez on the right in pic 80 with her usual haircut and the pearl erring i see she always wears.

Yes, you're right! Well spotted with only half her topic posted (and just in time to add this one chronologically in her topic!). Unfortunately she isn't really seen any clearer than that and doesn't appear in any other scenes - there's little continuity with the train passengers.Ciavazzaro wrote: ↑25/10/2024, 23:49I think we do have Juanita Menendez on the right in pic 80 with her usual haircut and the pearl erring i see she always wears.
Oh, and it's Jimenez, not Menendez
