Storyline
New York: the poet Rose (Irene Miracle) finds the book by an architect-alchemist entitled "The three mothers", which tells of three houses built to three evil entities: Mater Suspiriorum in Friborg, Mater Lacrimarum in Rome and Mater Tenebrarum, in New York. The girl's curiosity will push her to discover deadly secrets, which no one should know. Panicking, she will call her brother (Leigh McCloskey) for help, who will dive in search of the missing sister, revealing an horrible threat.

Re: Inferno (1980)
I think the hamburger peddler must be played by James Fleetwood, who is identified in cast list as playing "cook". It's the best fit there is. Also, this sequence was one of the few to actually be shot on location in New York, so it makes sense that he would be played by an American.
