Storyline
Former commissioner Leonardo Tanzi, accuser and witness at the trial against Luigi Maietto known as "Il Cinese", learns of the latter's escape from prison. Coming home after his current job as a proofreader, he meets two Maietto men who try to kill him but in reality only wound him. Actually pretending to be dead, he sets out on the hunt for "Il cinese", who in the meantime forms a criminal alliance with crime boss Frank Di Maggio. Following the trail of a robbery, Tanzi discovers a money traffic between Switzerland and Rome and manages to get to Nicola Proietti, one of the Di Maggio's men. Luigi Maietto discovers that Tanzi is still alive and tries to eliminate him. The bloody events will end with the death of Frank Di Maggio and Luigi Maietto.
