One of the episodes from the serie "The whistler" where a drifter collects money in a bank of a sleeping account, but later on
targeted by several men who are also in search of that money due to an old agreement between two men.
These shorter movies, around 1h00 were made from a popular radio program and are in fact film noirs.

Couldn't find a copy of this hard to find movie, but was able by chance to find a still , where wonder oh wonder, Frank was visible
This is a strange and unusual sort of crazy scientific doctor movie where a man following an experiment stays young but is in fact
120 years old ! by murdering people and stealing their glands.
But when he falls in love with a woman, he needs new glands to renew his youth, but the police is on his trail. Very strange indeed.
You see him in the background.

Thrill of a romance (1945) as Club patron

Light love story with some musical opera songs in which female star Esther Williams plays a swimming teacher (what else) and falls in love with young war hero played by Van Johnson.
Very short appearance here, you see him sitting in the middle of the picture.

Another entry in the Sherlock Holmes serie where he is after three murderous villains and where three little music boxes are an
important clue to the case.
Here he is taking pictures on the murder scene, but not really visible (he is on the left).

The killers (1946) as Boxing fight spectator

This is a story about 2 hitmen who kill a man who was waiting for them and the police investigator who examines the case, tries
to solve this by putting the pieces together from the past of the victim that had something to do with the mysterious and gorgeous
Kitty Collins (Ava Gardner).
In 1964 there was a remake of this movie starring a young John Cassavetes (In this version it was a young Burt Lancaster).
Here again in a few seconds appearance.

The beginning or the end (1947) as Canadian Officer

Rather unusual MGM movie about the research, development and dropping of the first atomic bomb during the second world war
the shooting of this movie was in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
This movie with a big cast was not a conventional one in the mid forties, that's why it is seldom given on television.
Only seen at the beginning of the movie at an international ceremony.

Calcutta (1947) as Police officer

This film noir was in fact made in 1945 but released in 1947 and it's about two pilots who are investigating the deathj of a friend and
they become embroiled in a smuggling case.
Good old Alan Ladd provides the action and Gail Russell is the love interest.
The copy i found was not so great and the pictures could be better and bigger.

The imperfect lady (1947) as Policeman at trial

Ray milland is a member of parliament and gets a romance with troupe dancer Teresa Wright but the family of the politician
opposes against him to mary her and one night she encounters a Spanish concert pianist (unusual role for Anthony Quinn) and
later on he is accused of murder, will she defend him in court under interrogation?

The sea of grass (1947) as A juror

Psychological drama movie about a St. Louis wman (Katherine Hepburn) who marries cattleman (Spencer Tracy) and realizes soon
that he is considered by the local people as a tyrant who let his animals raze on the grounds of the homesteaders.
Talky movie that was directed by Elia Kazan but it was not a success despite the tandem of Hepburn-Tracy.

The reformer and the redhead (1950) as Man at support rally

Comedy-romance movie about a young woman (June Allyson) who will help her father, a zoo keeper who loses his job by a false
accusation by hiring an attorney (Dick Powell).
He discovers some localpolitical things and to make things mord complicated, there is an escaped lion from the zoo.
He is on the left of the picture, the tall man, but barely seen.
