Re: List of generici 1940's-1950's
Oh great !
And here are some interesting names from that list with movies where i have found them credited.
The first interesting names is YVONNE COCCO
Anica credited her in 3 movies
La città si difende (1951)
Altri tempi (1952)
Trieste, cantico d'amore (1954)
But the most important thing is that in the page for Altri Tempi all the cast did have a role, and she is credited to play the Nun, so we should be able to know who she is, after watching the movie.
Enzo Bruno maybe is this man credited as man in the inn in I Miserabili, sesta puntata: I figli di Waterloo ?
Amalia Amorosi seems to have acted until the 1960's
she is credited to play the president in Lo smemorato (1936) according to Anica
and also in these movies
FILM REALIZZATI:
L'ultimo dei Bergerac (1934)
Re burlone (1935)
Re di danari (1936)
Anyone have Lo smemorato (1936) ?
Carlo Castellani i have found these credited roles
Non cantare... baciami (1957)
Le nuove inchieste del commissario Maigret - Non si uccidono i poveri diavoli, Prima Puntata credited as Gaslinne Rennette

I have Altri tempi and she's supposed to appear in the segment "Il tamburino sardo". There is a nursing-nun in that segment, but she appears only for some seconds and is shot in such a way that her face isn't visible...Ciavazzaro wrote: ↑29/05/2019, 22:47The first interesting names is YVONNE COCCO

La città si difende is also on youtube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGrOe_WEWgg
There are few female charachters i see including a nun, if we can found Trieste cantico d'amore we can see if there the same two actress in the movie.
Sadly we don't see her face, at least we see her pshyical look (slim).

Re: List of generici 1940's-1950's
I am currently awaiting the DVD of La città si difende.
As for the Altri tempi cast list, we cannot trust it completely, because even if most of the informations are correct, Ugo Mari is listed as playing "Il suonatore" and that is not correct...

In that case we should take a look at all the female faces in here, and if we can found the same face in all the 3 movies i think we can found the actress.
I see that Ugo Mari is really present in the movie, but as you say he don't play a suonatore, but a waiter.

Re: List of generici 1940's-1950's
One of the names in this list is a certain Armando Michettoni. I see that IMDb lists him with a role in Caterina da Siena (1947), but all of his other credits are very, very small roles in various TV productions from the 1960s. So I'd assume he did lots of uncredited work in the 1940s and 50s.
He's listed with a character name in La cittadella (1964) and this is him
That wart on his cheek is pretty characteristic, so it should be possible to recognize him.
He's also credited in an episode of Il giornalino di Gian Burrasca (1964-65), and I think this might possibly be him. He has the same wart, although here he also has a moustache

Absolutely the same in both pics.
He have only 8 credited roles so i agree with you he must be a generico, it's only up to us to found roles lol.

Re: List of generici 1940's-1950's
Some very interesting names on the list we should search:
Berenice Pagnoni credited in 2 movies:
Piume al vento (1950)
Mamma perdonami (1951)
anyone have them ?
Irene Oberberg who should appear according to a book about Marco Ferreri in L'udienza 1972 in the role of nun
https://books.google.it/books?id=Tc7eES ... rg&f=false
and according to imdb also in Caccia alle farfalle 1992 (but on imdb credited as Irena so don't know if she is another woman).
