In the second picture with Scavran it also looks like Romano Milani at the back with the moustache, Did you also see Mimmo Poli in this film? He should play a nurse

While I'm probably well qualified in identifying Mommo Poli myself at the moment, I'd like to get second opinions on this one just because it's a film that does not appear on any of Mimmo's filmographies. It's from The Crimson Pirate (1952), a major Hollywood production that was shot in Italy, but one which has failed thus far to provide any identified Italian supporting actors besides Umberto Sacripante and which I came upon just by chance today in a spooky coincidence while looking through my images from the film. I'd say I'm 99% certain that this is Mimmo, what do others think?

would be great if this is really mimmo, i leave it to the experts, but if so then that would be a great
discovery by you nick !
i saw this film in the past and that was and is still cinema a-papa !
(and if it is him, then that was a big omission in his film list)

YES! For me there's no doubt whatsoever!

Thank you for the confirmation! As I said I was pretty certain that it was him, as I was certain that some hitherto undocumented roles for him would appear, I just thought it was too good to be true that I would find one so quickly, particularly in such a major film where he is seen so obviously, so was worried that I might be imagining things! So we have our first Mimmo Poli "discovery", here's hoping that it's just the first of many! I'll go through the film again later to see if there are any better shots of him and to look for any other of our faces that might be hiding in plain sight.

It's pretty dark, even with the image brightened, but i'm pretty certain that's Romano Moraschini behind on the right side as another spectator in Polvere di stelle

I've revisited La notte brava for a third time looking for Mimmo, who is credited by ANICA as being in the film. There is this one actor who bears some resemblance to Mimmo playing a pimp, but I really do not think it is him. With the dark glasses it's hard to identify him but the hairline and the way he stands look different to me. There are no other actors in the film who look at all like Mimmo, so i think it is a case of mis-identification and that Mimmo does not appear. What do others think?

I agree about Moraschini.

Also agree about La notte brava. It's not Mimmo, and if he's nowhere else to be found in the film, then this is surely a matter of a misidentification.
