I suppose it could be possible that they are both Marlowa, shot some years apart. I believe the girl in the fantasy sequence is supposed to be him imagining how his little sister/possibly daughter (the younger girl) would have grown up to look.Johan Melle wrote: ↑21/05/2020, 18:10I have a biography of Nadia Marlowa published in a Sogno magazine in the late 1950s that I'll have to dig out, but there's of course no guarantee that the age given there will be correct.
Anyway, she's the long-haired blonde woman in the first picture posted by Nick. From looking at that pic, I would say that this footage of Nadia was shot in 1962.
Based on what Nick says, it sounds to me like this film was close to completion when production (for whatever reason) was shut down in 1951. I'm guessing that when Damiani resurrected the project, he didn't have access to any of the original cast or crew, so he just tacked on some additional material like that sequence at the end and some fantasy sequences involving women in order to bring it up to full feature length.

Re: Quick Identifications
I really don't think the younger girl in the second pic is Nadia. I think she appears only in footage from the second shoot, and that she wasn't part of the original production, which is from several years before any of her other credits.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑21/05/2020, 18:15I suppose it could be possible that they are both Marlowa, shot some years apart. Re: Quick Identifications
I'm thinking that might be Mario Ghignone as the gladiator trainer front right with the Messinas in The Fall of the Roman Empire. This is from the blu-ray so probably as clear as it will ever get. Any opinions?
