Enzo Doria in Il vecchio testamento (1963)
Enzo Doria is an actor who began his studies at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1960. Despite his actors studies, it is from the fields of production, direction and screenwriting where he is best known these days.

Enzo was born Ezio Passadore on March 12th 1936 in Genoa, Italy. He was married to decorator Gisella Longo and the father of actor Alessandro Doria.

With a few credits already behind him when he graduated, Enzo continued to work as an actor for the next 5 years, amassing a total of 16 known acting appearances. Dissatisfied with the way his career was going, in 1965 he changed direction, founding the production company Doria Cinematografica, which over the next 30 years would be responsible for more than 30 productions, including some critical and commercial successes. Additionally Enzo has 6 known directorial credits, plus 8 writing credits mostly under his birth name. Unlike some other actor-producers found on this forum, it would seem that Enzo never appeared in any of the films he produced.

Enzo died at the age of 83 in Sacrofano, Italy on December 6th 2019.

I have concentrated on his acting credits for starting his topic, so there are plenty of his production credits to be added. I have opted to list his production credits separately below his acting credits.

Dinanzi a noi il cielo (1957) credited and pictured on the poster and fotobusta, as Tom (role to be confirmed).

From the credits on the poster it would appear that Enzo had his only leading role in this production, some 3 years before his C.S.C. graduation.

La dolce vita (1960) credited, as Photographer. A curious role to be credited for, since he plays just one of many paparazzi.

La tragica notte di Assisi (1961) credited on the poster, as Lorenzo (role to be confirmed). I think that is probably him towards the back on the right side of the fotobusta.

Solimano il conquistatore (1961) credited.

ANICA says he should play a Confidante of Sulieman, however I was unable to find him in any such role in the poor quality copies available. The most likely candidate I could find was this one, however this is a pretty nothing role as a Soldier.

Anno 79: La distruzione di Ercolano (1962) credited as E. Passadore as Production secretary. I believe this is Enzo's earliest known production credit.
