Yes, I agree that must be him, looking rather old and maybe ill a year before his deathJohan Melle wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 21:06Here: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=393&hilit=IL+GRANDE+DUELLO#p7092PeplumParadise wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 21:04I haven't seen the episode or any images from itJohan Melle wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 19:38
I would say it's definitely him in Sogni e bisogni episode "Ladri", so that should definitely go in his topic along with the credit.

Re: Quick Identifications
So we have 2 films where Gianni is credited where he appears (plus the L'oro de Roma credit), then one where the identification is rather dubious and one where he doesn't appear - what can we surmise from that?

Credited as Gianni also in the Sogni e bisogni episode (just checked the credits on YouTube).PeplumParadise wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 21:14So we have 2 films where Gianni is credited where he appears (plus the L'oro de Roma credit), then one where the identification is rather dubious and one where he doesn't appear - what can we surmise from that?
From what I remember, there are some other credited actors in Un uomo dalla pelle dura that were impossible to find, so maybe it's a cut version. I would suggest re-checking the films very carefully just to be sure.

Re: Quick Identifications
From the credit screen with Gianni's name I can confirm that Emilio Messina, Fortunato Arena and Aldo Cecconi do all appearJohan Melle wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 21:19Credited as Gianni also in the Sogni e bisogni episode (just checked the credits on YouTube).PeplumParadise wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 21:14So we have 2 films where Gianni is credited where he appears (plus the L'oro de Roma credit), then one where the identification is rather dubious and one where he doesn't appear - what can we surmise from that?

He's in I giorni dell'ira! He briefly appears in the window to give Gemma instructions and is called Mr. Miller.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑12/08/2020, 21:14So we have 2 films where Gianni is credited where he appears (plus the L'oro de Roma credit), then one where the identification is rather dubious and one where he doesn't appear - what can we surmise from that?

Re: Quick Identifications
Well, there we have it! Excellent!
Re: Quick Identifications
I take it we have enough (along with the L'oro di Roma credit) that we can put the 2 westerns and Sogni e bisogni in his topic credited as Gianni Di Segni?

Re: Quick Identifications
As always it took years for us to discover generici, and then we see that they are credited in an avalanche of movies haha !
Carlos
i think is right like you say to write the name the way was credited.

Re: Quick Identifications
I looked again through Un uomo dalla pelle dura, this time an Italian copy on You Tube, but still don't see anyone who looks like Giacomo. Maybe someone else will have more luck or maybe it's a phantom credit, every actor seems to have at least one.
So should we call him Giacomo, which looks like it was his boxing name, or Gianni, which looks like the name he was credited with in films?
