Well they're possibly slightly better, but there's not a lot in it. Anyway it's definitely Fortunato and he does make a remarkable recovery to fight again moments later. As for Nazzareno, it's already in his topic, though I couldn't quite decide if that's also him in the last shot, it resembles him but something seems not right, particularly the nose.Johan Melle wrote: ↑01/04/2021, 18:24
It's the battle sequence near the end. On my copy, he is seen getting killed at 1:40:41, though now I just noticed that he has yet another role mere seconds later, attacking Amedeo Nazzari 1:41:00. I think Nazzareno Zamperla is there too.

Well, there's only room for so much improvement given the condition of the currently circulating prints, but thanks. Will you update the original post then?PeplumParadise wrote: ↑01/04/2021, 19:45Well they're possibly slightly better, but there's not a lot in it. I thought it might be Nazzareno when I saw the scene quickly in movement, but wasn't sure, and I'm even more doubtful now. I guess that's another one to re-assess if or when a better print becomes available.
Re: Quick Identifications
I don't remember if it was already discussed in the old forum. The countess Lela Bassi di Sangermano mentioned in the article "Le divine comparse" is Lella Cattaneo, isn't it? Considering there is also Carlo Cattaneo among the party guests...

Re: Quick Identifications
I have always suspected that this is the case, but she's nowhere to be found in that film. Which doesn't necessarily mean much, because that party scene is pretty short, and it's likely that many generici who were present are not visible in the finished version. So, yeah... it seems likely, but as is often the case, we're missing the actual proof.mortimer wrote: ↑01/04/2021, 21:09I don't remember if it was already discussed in the old forum. Re: Quick Identifications
Yes, I can add it. I'm not quite sure what to call the third role, I suppose the old fall-back of Rebel would suffice.Johan Melle wrote: ↑01/04/2021, 20:40

Re: Quick Identifications
I'm just working on Maciste nell'inferno di Gengis Khan as my next peplum film topic. How about this for Enzo Mondino on the right? Any ideas for blackbeard in the centre?
and could this maybe be Andrea Fantasia in the black helmet?
and I'm not at all sure about this, but could this possibly be Fortunato Arena?

Don't know who the blackbeard can be, but to the right of him is Giuseppe Marrocu.

Re: Quick Identifications
The only unidentified credited actor in Maciste nell'inferno di Gengis Khan is c.s.c. actress Daniela Igliozzi.
She's credited with c.s.c., but since Bruno Scipioni and Renato Terra Caizzi, who are also credited with c.s.c., both appear, then I think it is probable that she should appear too. I'm not familiar with Igliozzi, but from images of her online I think this actress looks to be the most likely candidate. Any opinions?

Yes, maybe, but she's one I'm not familiar with, so would need to compare against other roles.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑02/04/2021, 0:17The only unidentified credited actor in Maciste nell'inferno di Gengis Khan is c.s.c. actress Daniela Igliozzi.

Re: Quick Identifications
I think that it is Franco, quite clearly, although (like mentioned) he's a bit... well-fed here. In the second pic he's looking remarkably like Stacy Keach, to me:-)))van den bremt rudy wrote: ↑01/04/2021, 0:24In Il mio nome e Shanghai Joe (1973) i think i have found Franco Ukmar, but not sure at all (with moustache) as Tricky's henchman
other generici in this western have been so far identified, maybe this one wasn't checked
