Quick identifications
Re: Quick Identifications
I'd say, this is Montegelato filmed the other way round. Opinions? From La notte dei diavoli (1972)

Re: Quick Identifications
I'm pretty sure this is Mr. Chinny as the soldier fighting Harold Bradley in Roma contro Roma. Unfortunately all available copies of this film are all kinds of awful, so this is as good as it gets for now. Any opinions?
Re: Quick Identifications
Isn't that Bruno Ukmar as the third from the right monk in ...continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità (1971)? His brothers are depicted yet.

Re: Quick Identifications
and from another film where the available copies are all kinds of awful, I'm pretty sure that must be Zulina in Golia e il cavaliere mascherato, but not sure if it's clear enough to put as a definite ID, or else to put it as either an uncertain ID or a title to check when a better print appears? Any opinions?

Yes to Zulina. I'd like to say yes to Chinny, too, but i have to say: maybe, it looks like it could be him.

Re: Quick Identifications
I guess so, but the pics are really, really soft so it's hard to make out the features. Is he shown well in the English full-screen prints? I know they're not great, but I think they're a little sharper at least.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑23/06/2021, 15:53I'm pretty sure this is Mr. Chinny as the soldier fighting Harold Bradley in Roma contro Roma. Re: Quick Identifications
I think it must be Zulina. There's also Mario Pascucci next to her.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑23/06/2021, 22:36and from another film where the available copies are all kinds of awful, I'm pretty sure that must be Zulina in Golia e il cavaliere mascherato, but not sure if it's clear enough to put as a definite ID, or else to put it as either an uncertain ID or a title to check when a better print appears? Re: Quick Identifications
I'll check in the morning, the quality isn't much better and it's darker but he would be larger so maybe easier to identify (assuming he isn't cut off the side)Johan Melle wrote: ↑23/06/2021, 23:37

Re: Quick Identifications
Well here we have it from the British full frame DVD, along with ropey copies from Spanish and US TV (my original post was from a French TV copy). I'm still sure it must be him, though I'm not sure if any of these help to clarify it really - as I said they are all kinds of awful.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑24/06/2021, 0:25I'll check in the morning, the quality isn't much better and it's darker but he would be larger so maybe easier to identify (assuming he isn't cut off the side)Johan Melle wrote: ↑23/06/2021, 23:37
