Re: Quick Identifications
I agree with Dan, I don't see any Ukmars here (unless on the far left, in which case he's too dark to identify even with the image brightened)

Re: Quick Identifications
I can see the one on the right resembling Sergio somewhat, but I agree with the others: I don't think it's really him.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑24/07/2021, 14:29I agree with Dan, I don't see any Ukmars here (unless on the far left, in which case he's too dark to identify even with the image brightened)

Yeah, the one on the right. Looks like him to me, but I seem to be outnumbered Just to be sure, he does turn so... I think this is the same one with the hat on the far left in the crowd shot and lastly among the corpses in the cave.

I can see some similarity in profile, but I still don't think it's Sergiocarlos wrote: ↑24/07/2021, 15:29Yeah, the one on the right. Re: Quick Identifications
I can't decide if I think this is Alberto Dell'Acqua in La freccia nera (2006) or not. Any opinions?

Re: Quick Identifications
Helen of Troy is one of several big-budget epic Hollywood productions shot in Italy that for some reason has never had a blu-ray release or HD TV broadcast - others include Land of the Pharaohs and Francis of Assisi.
I had been holding off checking it for generici in the hope that an HD print would appear, but with a growing list of stuntmen who reportedly appear to check for I gave in and watched the best available print currently available from the DVD release. I didn't have much success with the stuntmen, no sign at all of Osiride Pevarello or Gino Marturano and somewhat doubtful ID's for Bruno Arie and Nazzareno Zamperla - the soft print, plus constant movement, plus 2 major battle scenes taking place at night all combined to make identifying many of the stuntmen pretty impossible.
I did, however, find a number of other potential identifications, some of which I'm more sure about than others (and some of which would definitely be more certain with an HD print). What do people think of these?
Bruno Arie - named as appearing in an interview with Gino Marturano, I didn't see anyone who looked obviously like him, but from the way he stands and the hair and head shape I thought this one seemed like a possibility, though probably not clear enough for a certain ID
Zulina Badaloni and Emma Druetti - Neither are seen too clearly, but from what you can see I'm fairly confident about the ID's
Aristide Catoni - I'm pretty much certain about this one
Veriano Ginesi - 2 possible ID's for Veriano, neither of which I'm too sure about
Franco Lori - at front centre, it seems like it might be him, but not certain
Ugo Mari? Sandro Mondini? seems like the offspring if they had a baby, but not sure if it’s either one
Terzo Monachesi - a bit squashed up in the first images, seems like his eyes but not sure if it’s him under the wig
"Sleepy Eyes" - I think this should be him
Luigi Smith - already identified in one role in the film, this one would be a second role, seems like him though the images are a bit blurry from movement
Goffredo Unger - a bit of a wild guess, not sure at all
Nazzareno Zamperla - listed on IMDb for “stunts”, it seems like it could be him in the first 2 images, but the 3rd gives me doubts

Re: Quick Identifications
My take:
Yes, without a doubt for Badaloni, Druetti, Catoni, Lori, Mari (it's him and not Mondini IMO, though I see what you mean), Monachesi and "Sleepy Eyes".
Very likely for Zamperla.
Maybe for Ariè, Ginesi and Smith.
No for Unger.

Re: Quick Identifications
Wondering if I should put the Ginesi ID's as uncertain identifications, they are the sort of images that could probably be confirmed (or otherwise) if an HD print turns up

Re: Quick Identifications
The resemblance is there and I think it could be him - just wasn't sure - so I'd say yes.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑26/07/2021, 0:27Wondering if I should put the Ginesi ID's as uncertain identifications, they are the sort of images that could probably be confirmed (or otherwise) if an HD print turns up
