I grandi condottieri (1965) credited, as Jether, son of Gideon.

There's a beautiful HD print on this film on the flixole site, but until I can figure a way to download it or else it gets shown elsewhere then these ropey old DVD shots will have to do.

Nick I have a TV recording with Italian credits that looks pretty good. If you want it, I can put the screens here so you work on the logo.

Thanks, that would be good. It's quite easy to hide logos using photoshop, unless the logo is on someone's face or covering writing like credits then it's more complicated

Two little things about Giorgio Cerioni:

His character name in Lupi nell'abisso (1959) cannot be Marine Ferito. The term ferito actually means wounded or injured, so the character name "marinaio ferito" given on ANICA then means "wounded sailor", which seems correct given his bandaged head. That credit shot is surely not original, though. Looks computer generate to me.

And about the pics from Sotto dieci bandiere (1960), that man is not Cerioni in my opinion.

OK, will correct the character. My copy only has those newly-created credits, though they seem to be an accurate replication of what the original credits should have been.

In Sotto dieci bandiere, where he is mentioned as appearing by several online sources but is uncredited, that was the only actor I could find who seemed to resemble him, so if that isn't him then he probably does not appear. I'm pretty sure it's him in the first 2 images, not so certain in the second 2 which could be a different actor.

Well, I guess it could be him in the first pics where he's not shown all that well, but the one seen in close-up just doesn't seem like him to me.

About the Sam & Sally TV series: that one gave me a bit of a headache a while ago when I was posting pics of Geoffrey Copleston in the episode "Bedelia". The problem is that there seems to be some confusion as to whether episode 2 is actually "La corne d'antilope" (titled "Laura" in Italian) or "Bedelia". I think the the confusions probably stems from "La corne d'antilope" being shown as the second episode on the French DVD release, whereas it was the sixth episode when originally broadcast in both France and Italy. When I posted pics of various generici from "Bedelia", I listed that as episode 2 as that is what the majority of sources (including Radiocorriere TV) indicate, so I'd say list "La corne d'antilope" / "Laura" as episode 6.

Anyway, there's a pretty good copy of "La corne d'antilope" (together with the episode "Le collier") available here: https://youtu.be/y-DS8hWvA2I

I really do think it's him in close up on the left in the first image, as far as I can see all the features (mouth, nose, eyes) match, but since you don't I've marked it as an uncertain ID

I've added pics of Cerioni in Petrosino in his topic, and also added the missing credit shot from Il sospetto.

Also, he is in fact included in the French credits of the Sam & Sally episode he appeared in. I'd add the credit shot myself, but I'm afraid I'm no good at removing logos...

Thank you.

To remove logos using photoshop I use "content-aware fill". You highlight the area of the logo and it matches it with whatever is surrounding it. Not always perfect, but at least less distracting than the logos tend to be. The only time it really does not work is if the logo is on someone's face or on top of writing such as credits.
