There isn't really a set rule. We basically just take it case by case. In this case, we see more than enough profile to easily recognize that this is Mario Castaldi. In other cases, we might see very little of the face, but still be sure because of a very distinctive hairstyle, build, ears or maybe a recurring costume etc. Other times, it may seem to be a certain person but it's not possible to be sure.

I think it should absolutely be posted, yes, but not sure how it should be marked in the filmography. If I understand your post in Gambini's topic, it's not just that Decio is not visible on camera, but that this entire scene is missing from the finished film...?

Many thanks. I think the scene really exists, with Milian and Cannavale bringing some fruit but during the movie is cut on the right.
