Salambò (1960) as One of Mathos' men. He is not credited in the very minimal French credits, which are all I've ever managed to find. Only currently available in poor quality. A friend tells me he has the English credits, which may or not contain additional actors, but that the quality is even poorer - he will send me that tonight, so if Antonio does appear I will let you know.
La schiava di Roma (1961) credited, as Roman centurion. Despite being credited, I've only managed to identify him in this one shot. Again only currently available in fairly poor quality.
Il ratto delle sabine (1961) as Roman. IMDb says he should be credited as "Toni Basile", but he is not in the Italian or French credits, so I don't know what version they are referring to.
Giulio Cesare contro i pirati (1962) credited, but I've never managed to identify him, strange since Pasquale appears quite prominently. The copy on Raiplay is as good as any, so maybe you can find him where I didn't?
Il capitano di ferro (1962) credited, as One of Furio's men. He's seen quite prominently in the opening scene, but then mostly disappears into the background - again Pasquale has a far more substantial role.
Il segno di Zorro (1963) as Guard

Since you're getting to know him, what's your opinion on the possible ID for Giuseppe Monteverdi in Anthar l'invincibile here.
And while you're there do you have any ideas about Kirk Morris's stunt double in the same post? Possibly Aldo Canti?

Could be Monteverdi. The facial features seem right. For now I've always found him without beard, so with this different look it's not easy for me to be sure, he's also a lot younger than in the other roles I’ve found.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑11/03/2025, 10:55Since you're getting to know him, what's your opinion on the possible ID for Giuseppe Monteverdi in Anthar l'invincibile here.

But if he's also in the credits of the movie, I'd say we can be pretty sure it's him.
About the Kirk Morris stunt double, at this distance the face reminds me a bit of Aldo Canti, and considering the type of acrobatics in the scene, it could actually be him.
Checking on the internet I read that Kirk Morris is 1.85m tall, and Aldo Canti, again according to internet sources, is exactly as tall as Morris. If this information is correct it is extremely likely that he was the stunt double.

Thank you, and yes, he is credited, even if it's missing from IMDb. It looks like it's his earliest credit by some years.Stuntman Mike wrote: ↑11/03/2025, 13:31Could be Monteverdi.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑11/03/2025, 10:55Since you're getting to know him, what's your opinion on the possible ID for Giuseppe Monteverdi in Anthar l'invincibile here.

Great! It will be a real challenge to find the many roles currently missing for this actor/stuntman.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑11/03/2025, 15:30Thank you, and yes, he is credited, even if it's missing from IMDb. Hi Mike, could this be Antonio Basile in Un hombre y un colt (1967) as Pedro bandit, seen here in the green jacket.
Not the best of copy found.
Thank you.
