The lips are certainly similar, but I think the nose seems quite different. I still think this would probably be an Italian actor since the scenes he appears in were shot in Italy. Carlos is more familiar with Morales than I am, so it would be good to get his opinion.

Could this maybe be Agustin Bescos in a wig and false beard?

Thanks to Steven Smith on Facebook (stevenhorrorsmith here), we have the identity of the actor playing the cyclops. He is Italian discus thrower Giuseppe Tosi, confirmed by a newspaper article with a photo, found on the classic horror film board. I have added him.
Steven has also provided an explanation for Antonio Molino Rojo's listing on IMDb. Antonio appears in an early scene which is only present in the Spanish version, which so far I have not been able to find a copy of. He says "Antonio Molino Rojo IS in my son, the hero but only in the spanish print. i have a couple of copies of the film and one version i taped off SBS-TV back in the 1980s and they played the spanish version, with australian-english subtitles, and he appears in a scene straight after the start of the movie set in the cave where Cadmus has a model of the city and he is telling other men gathered around and rojo even has dialogue too."

Steven managed to find a copy on You Tube taken from the Greek VHS which includes the missing scene. In addition to Molino Rojo there is also Ricardo Lillo (and some additional footage of Agustin Bescos, Spanish Whitebeard and Wavy Gravy, who are already identified from other scenes). The Greek copy is in Italian language, so the missing scene must also appear in some Italian prints. I will add Molino Rojo and Lillo.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑13/12/2024, 11:01Steven has also provided an explanation for Antonio Molino Rojo's listing on IMDb.
