Yes, Mr. Rubien is an interesting actor who definitely deserves his own topic! And like all good generici he also appeared in fotoromanzi! He has a very good role (credited as Howard Rubien) in Sofia N. 2: "Il giglio di Hong-Kong" (April 1964):

I found a very nice little role for Howard in Cuore di mamma (1969).

He plays a general who protested to some young people because they made noises, but he doesn't feel well and all the boys dance like they are in the army!

Also in Una vita difficile (1961)

And in Bel Ami 2000 a.k.a. 100 ragazze per un playboy (1966) as party guest husband of Irina Wassilchikoff

All pictures from the old forum are now restored, but to Ciavazzaro: the role in Una vita difficile is missing from the filmography. Can you write the role and whether he was credited or not in the filmography?

Anyway, I have found two more roles for Howard. After his role in La caduta degli dei (1969), he worked for Visconti in at least two more films.

In Morte a Venezia (1971) he can be seen in several scenes as a hotel guest and has some brief dialogue, too, but he's uncredited:

He is also in L'innocente (1976) where he can be spotted in a few scenes as a party guest:

Of course, as noted in the first post, he also acted for Visconti in Il gattopardo (1963), but we're still waiting for the picture.
