Born in Roma from a noble Roman family,[1] Miria Di San Servolo (alias Myriam Petacci, Miriam Day), stage name of Maria Petacci, was an actress famous to be the younger sister of Clara Petacci, the famous Benito Mussolini's lover.

After completing the studies and got a teacher-training high school diploma[1], she made her debut on the Silver screen in the film Le vie del cuore, for which she obtained a warm welcome in the summer of 1942 at the first projection in San Marco in Venice.[1]

Moved to Spain shortly before the collapse of fascism, she continued her career with the stage name of Miriam Day, shooting some films that never arrived in Italy. Her last italian movie was Pasquale Squitieri's Claretta (1984), where she plays herself while telling the tormented story of her sister Claretta.

In 1988 she wrote the book Chi ama è perduto. Mia sorella Claretta, once again dedicated to her sister, murdered by the partisans.
