Anna Capodaglio was born in a family of artists, breathing the atmosphere of the theater since her birth. She joined first with the Talli-Gramatica-Calabrese troupe, then with her sisters Irma and Emma Gramatica and, finally, with her sister-in-law Vanda Capodaglio, always in roles of primary importance.[1]
Since her first appearances on the big screen (in La vedova by Alessandrini and Carmela by Calzavara), she achieved very successful characterizations in the parts of "mother", garments in which her exquisite qualities of dramatic actress excel.[1]
