Federico Collino was an excellent character actor of the prose theater. He worked with Duse, Melato, Ruggeri, Ricci and for six consecutive years with Tòfano. With Viarisio and Porelli he had the name in the company for the first time. At the cinema he drew tasty caricatures, full of a homegrown good-natured comedy.
