Loris Loddi was one of the busiest child actors in 1960's Italian cinema. From the late 1970's until the present he has worked as a small-part actor and dubbing artist in Italian films and television.

Loris was born on December 3rd 1956 in Rome, Italy.

He began his acting career at the age of 4 with 2 film appearances in 1961. Within a couple of years he became one of the most in demand child actors in Italian films and television and he worked steadily for the rest of the decade. The role he is probably best remembered for is playing the young son of Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra (1963). He also notably appeared on stage in 1963 in Visconti’s production of Il diavolo in giardino.

He took time out in the first half of the 1970’s to (presumably) finish his schooling, returning to acting in the latter half of the decade. He has continued to work steadily in small roles in Italian films and television up until the present and, now in his 60’s, is still as busy as ever.

Since the 1980’s Loris has worked primarily as a dubbing artist. Among the actors he would regularly voice in Italian are Val Kilmer, Ben Mendelsohn, Timothy Hutton, Michael Stuhlberg, Cillian Murphy, Quentin Tarantino, Michael Sheen and Kevin Bacon. Loris has his own website at lorisloddi.it which contains news, videos and images. He is also an active presence on Facebook where he regularly posts images and keeps his 9000+ followers updated on any new projects he is working on.

I have found a couple of undocumented 60’s appearances by Loris, so there could be more.
