Always very elegant and well-dressed, Pier Ugo was perhaps more of a bit part actor than a generico in the sense that he was usually entrusted with a bit of dialogue. He did also manage to score some credited roles throughout his career, but few of his part were particularly substantial, with the exception of his appearance in the Renato Polselli's horror film L'amante del vampiro (1960).
Much like Aristide Catoni and Ugo Mari, Pier Ugo looks to have been somewhat a favorite of the great comedian Totò as he has small speaking parts in a number of his films, but unfortunately, both IMDb and Wikipedia erroneously attribute several of these roles to other actors.
Whereas his earliest film appearance found so far is from 1950, he was active in theater since at least during the WW2 era, appearing with Renato Rascel in the revue "Allegro ma non troppo" at the Teatro Quattro Fontane in Rome in 1944[1].
