Storyline

Inspector Nico Palmieri is hot on the heels of a gang of ruthless racketeers hell-bent on extorting local business owners with intimidation and violent reprisals. During the investigation the gang ambushes him and seriously injures him. Nico is more and more determined to bring the crooks to justice at any cost, but his superiors warn him to use only legal methods. Realizing that he will have no chance of succeeding, if acting legally, Nico recruits a crack squad of civilians who have themselves fallen victim to the gang to ambush them during their meeting in an isolated factory. When the gang members finally begin to arrive, he discovers that at the top of the criminal organization, there are surprisingly unsuspected elements.
