Born in Rome in 1948, build minute (1,55 cm), delicate, without a particularly showy presence but with big brown expressive eyes, Carla Mancini was graduated as actress at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in the late sixties (maybe 1968 or '69), where she also studied dance and rhythmic gymnastics. She took part in more than 200 films, but nobody knowns exactly in how many of these actually appears. Of course, the fact is that she was the most prolific C.S.C. actress of the Seventies, in particular in the movies between 1970 and 1975.
In the late 2000s her name came back into the limelight thanks to a tam-tam on the internet, especially thanks to the Tibor Robert Szűcs website (cinemaitaliano.de - now offline) and then on the Nocturno forum (offline too), in a special section managed by Buono Legnani; this was enough for a true cult to be born around her in which for a few years many people hunted her apparitions in the films in which she was accredited. From the ashes of these sites, the page dedicated to Carla is now come back.
