: Sergio Silveri, in the TV series Nucleo centrale investigativo (1974)

Sergio Silveri was a generico with a long-running career, which was initiated with supporting parts in fotoromanzi during the 1960s. By the 1970s, he was appearing frequently in films, and with his robust build he was often cast as various tough guys, henchmen or cops. He continued to work until at least the mid 1990s.

The earliest role I've been able to find for Sergio is in the fotoromanzo Fotoromanzi della Fontana N. 11: "Quella bambina è tornata" (November 1967), where he is credited and has a romantic supporting role

I've also found him credited in two short fotoromanzi published in Grand Hotel:

"L'ultima vittoria", published in Grand Hotel N. 1213 (18 September 1969)

"La droga del successo", published in Grand Hotel N. 1261 (20 August 1970)

Earliest film role found so far is in Commissariato di notturna (1974) where Sergio has two roles. First as Police switchboard operator

Then as Policeman

Awesome role for Sergio in Roma, l'altra faccia della violenza (1976) as Arrested man. He's shacked up in a hotel with a pretty girl when the police arrive and break up his fun...

...so Sergio decides to make a run for it...

...but he's quickly caught and taken away (by the unknown 'Slim man with moustaches' no less!)

And here a much quieter role in Il trucido e lo sbirro (1976) as Train passenger

Also a terrific role in the crazy mondo movie Le notti porno nel mondo (1977) as one of four men selected to participate in a bizarre sexy show

The men's wives are made to stand behind a screen and stick their naked bottoms out through some holes, and then the men must try to identify the right woman to have sex with. But, as the narrator points out, what does it matter if they find the right one or not?

A late fotoromanzo role for Sergio, appearing alongside singers Plastic Bertrand and Flavia Fortunato in "Il favoloso Bertrand", published in several parts in the magazine Ragazza In during 1983

And finally another credited role in Fuga da Kayenta (1991) as a brutal sheriff's deputy who beats Antonio Sabàto Jr. together with another deputy played by our friend Maurizio Streccioni
