: Javier Dasti in Malinconico autunno (1958)

Javier Dasti was a small-part actor, active in Spanish films at least in the late 1950's.

No biographical details are currently known.

I identified Javier by chance while trying to identify another actor from La noche y el alba, where IMDb has him listed with the wrong role. In 2 of the 5 roles found so far he is credited as "Javier Dastis", so it's hard to know which should be the correct spelling. His 6 roles listed on IMDb all fall in a 2-year period from 1958-59 and in all the roles found so far he wears thick glasses.

With only 6 credited roles it would seem probable that there could be some uncredited roles to be found.

El inquilino (1958) credited as "Javier Dastis", as Board member.

All the board members are credited, so we can be sure of the ID, but Javier is only seen in the background or else is too blurred by camera movement to get any better shots. Some better images may be possible if the film should appear in HD.

Il marito (1958) credited, as Doctor Battistoni.

This was an Italian-Spanish co-production shot mostly, if not entirely, in Italy, so presumably either Javier travelled to Italy to film the scene or else Alberto Sordi went to Madrid.
