Italian title:
Caccia alla volpe
Director
Vittorio De Sica
Storyline
In order to receive a fortune in stolen gold bullion, master criminal Aldo "The Fox" Vanucci needs a coastal location, so he poses as a famous movie director, using his drop-off point, a sleepy Italian town, as the "setting" for a new production. The plan threatens to come undone thanks to Vanucci's movie-mad sister, Gina Romantica, and the fictional production's star, vain matinee idol Tony Powell.

Unidentified actors
Unidentified credited actors
- Mario Del Vago - It appears that Mario's scene was deleted and replaced with the scene featuring uncredited Timothy Bateson. Mario's role was one of the four international master criminals. The other 3 are French, German and Italian and his role of "Manuel Ortega" was to have been the Spanish one, but I would guess that the British producers decided they wanted a British criminal instead. The scene featuring Bateson is the only scene not shot in Italy or Egypt, shot in England with British actors, so was obviously an afterthought and inserted to replace the scene with Del Vago, but the credits had presumably already been set and it was too late to change them.
Uncredited actors listed as appearing by other sources, but not identified
- Daniela Igliozzi - IMDb with no role.
- Marcella Rovena - IMDb as Salvatore's wife. There is no character who gets called Salvatore in the film. She has 58 roles listed on IMDb, many with roles, so should, in theory, be easily identifiable. The only unidentified "wife" role of any note is the wife of Carlo Croccolo's unnamed cafe owner (image 193), so maybe that could be her?
- Francesco Telli - IMDb as Child in Sevalio. He has one other credit on IMDb in a 1965 TV movie which I was unable to find. Since there are a few young boys seen in these scenes then it is impossible to say which he might be.

- The opening scene (images 1-8) would appear to have been shot in Egypt, so the actors in these shots are presumably Egyptian

- This brief scene was shot in England, so the 2 actors should be English. The actor on the left is a familiar face from British television in the 60's/70's, but I don't recall his name.

- The role is "John Huston as Moses", but it is not John Huston playing the role. Possibly James Coburn, but doubtful.

160A/167 is Franco Cirino, the assistant director, as "Assistant director" (so maybe - apart from Casadei - more of the crew may play themselves).
