A master swordsman found work in the genre in the mid-1950s with his first credited appearance in the 1956 film “Lo spadaccino misterioso”. He established himself very early as a skilled master of arms, a role he often held in parallel with that of stuntman and actor. In 1959 and 1960 he was even credited as production secretary in several occasions.
Physically he is not particularly robust, his hair tends to be curly although he almost always appears with rather short hair. At an advanced age it is easy to identify him due to the white sideburns that contrast with the gray hair.
His last credited film appearance was as a killer in 1982’s “Monsignor”. However, he continued his activity as stunt coordinator for many years.
After leaving the film industry he became a well know artist and his paintings have been exhibited across Italy.
Remo died in Rome on October 9, 2014, at the age of 88.
