Unidentified actors
Uncredited actors listed as appearing by other sources, but not identified
- David Areu - IMDb as Official. Identified, but not matched.
- Dan Barry - From Dan's website. I didn't spot him, but he's not someone who has really clicked with me, so I may have overlooked him. It's equally possible that he appears, but is not identifiable.
- Pamela Carrington-Coutte - IMDb as 1st Tonya aged 7, which would mean she is sharing the role with Mercedes Ruiz. Young Tonya is seen first at the funeral and after at the house. It looks like the same girl, but maybe it was 2 similar looking girls? Since neither is credited or have any other roles where they can be identified then it's hard to say.
- Garrett Cassell - IMDb as Servant. He is a British actor, active in European films (mostly British) in the 60's, but this would look to have been his only film shot in Spain. I attempted to identify him in 5 films listed on IMDb in roles which should have been findable even if they were very small, but I failed to find him in any, so he seems to be something of a phantom.
- Flor de Bethania - IMDb as Extra. Identified, but not matched.
- Catherine Ellison - IMDb as Raped woman. Christoffer tells us that she actually played a woman who gives directions and that her scenes were cut.
- Álvaro Marenco - IMDb as Militiaman. He has 87 credits on IMDb, this being the earliest, when he would have been aged 21, however the earliest findable films with roles where he might be identifiable are from the late 1980's, so not much help.
- Ricardo Palacios - IMDb as Extra. I didn't recognise him and I know him very well, but since he is listed as an extra then it's possible he appears but is not identifiable.
- Ingrid Pitt - IMDb as Extra. Identified, but not matched.
- Luis Rodríguez - IMDb as Man in train. Presumed to be mis-identified in the role played by Enrique García Santiago.
- Robert Royal - IMDb as Dancer. Identified, but not matched.
- Aldo Sambrell - IMDb with no role. I've never managed to conclusively identify him, having searched specifically for him when I made his topic and again now. The only one I've thought may be a possibility is the guy on the stairs removing furniture in image 232, but I don't know that he is seen clearly enough to make a definite ID.
- Vicente Sangiovanni - IMDb as Extra. Identified, but not matched.
- Virgilio Teixeira - IMDb as Captain. Teixeira is fairly well known and we already have him identified in a few film topics, but I haven't recognised him here. The role of "Captain" isn't much help without knowing what he's supposed to be a captain of.
- Brigitte Trace - IMDb as Streetwalker. Reportedly her scenes were cut.
It must be said that the role descriptions to be found online (and indeed in the credits) are mostly too vague to be of much help in finding actors. Roles described as "Official", "Militiaman", "Servant" and "Captain", while obviously ruling out plenty, could still apply to many who appear.

Unidentified actors

|
- Possibly Felipe Urmeneta (2nd from left), but I'm doubtful
|

|
- Could that maybe be Aldo Sambrell on the stairs? That is the only actor I saw who I thought could possibly be him, but even in HD I'm not sure it's clear enough to be certain

A scene is missing from the unidentified actors list. It should come between 292 and 293.
When Yuri is alone on the frozen plain he sees an older man, a younger woman and a child. He thinks they might be his father and wife and child. He calls for them but they run away. The man takes a knife since he is afraid he will be attacked by Yuri.
The woman was played by Kirsi Melasniemi and the older man by Leo Lähteenmäki, a rather well-known Finnish actor. The child is Jari Jolkkonen. Two of these are listed also in IMDB.
Lähteenmäki and Sharif were told to breath in the same pace so that the vapor would come out of them at the same time.

All added, thank you - I guess I was falling asleep or snow-blinded by the time I got to that part!!
