Faustino Cornejo was a small part and background actor, active in Spanish films at least between 1931-1968.

His full name was Faustino Cornejo Sáez and he was born in Vitorio, Alava. No other biographical details are currently known.

He has only 11 roles listed on IMDb spread over 37 years, half of which are impossible to find and at least 2 of which are uncredited. Thanks to Carlos spotting him in an undocumented background role in Tela de araña, I was able to correct his identification in Gritos en la noche (the incorrect ID from this film is the only image to identify him online). With a number of uncredited roles now found in our film topics it seems apparent that he worked predominantly as a background actor.

Titles to check
There was no film of this title released in the 1950's. There was a 1946 film which I checked, but Cornejo does not appear. My best guess is that the film must have been released under a different title.

No Faustino!
Titles where Faustino is listed as appearing by other sources, but cannot be found.
  • Solomon and Sheba (1959) Anuario del cine español 1962. I searched the film thoroughly with no luck identifying him, but there are many big crowd and battle scenes, so it could still be possible that he is well hidden or does not appear identifiably.
  • Ama Rosa (1960) Anuario del cine español 1962. I didn't find him.
  • El pobre Garcia (1961) Anuario del cine español 1962. I didn't find him.
I didn't find him.
I didn't recognise him, but with most of the cast hidden under false moustaches and beards it could be possible I missed him.
I didn't find him.

Los misterios de Tánger (1942) credited as "F. Cornejo" on this publicity item found on IMDb, role unknown.

I think that is probably him on the right in the bottom left image.

Gritos en la noche (1962) credited in the Spanish credits, as Man mistakenly stopped in the street.

He is widely mis-credited online with playing a different role in this film.
