Alias: Barbara Seidel Maimone.
Barbara Seidel was born in Germany between the late forties and early fifties. Very tall, in 1960 she came third in the Miss Berlin competition. Introducing her to Italian cinema in the early seventies is the well-known Italian character Antonio Maimone, with whom she will marry and have two daughters Natasha and Jasmine (future actress). She will often appear in movies where the husband works, with small roles.
After the death of Antonio, she will be linked to the director Maurizio Pradeaux, with whom she had already collaborated in the writing and assistant director of the films Passi di morte perduti nel buio (1977) and Thrilling love (1989). Having abandoned the show in the late 1980s, she currently lives in Monterotondo (Rome) with her affectionate director companion.
Barbara Seidel was identified by Johan Melle in 2012 thanks to the frames from the film La circostanza (1973). Shortly afterwards, that was confirmed by Maurizio Pradeaux in person.
