Angelo Casadei and Luciano Foti?? It's certainly news to me that they did stunt work! From where do you have this information? Can you please elaborate a bit?

I'm actually not sure. Could it be from the German database https://cinema-italiano-db.de/?

At least I know Sergio Casadei did stunts. He was a horse stuntman and also drove a chariot in Ben-Hur

Well, I don't know! But there are a few of our generici that are, well... if not exactly stuntmen, then at least "semi-stuntmen" or whatever one might call them. I'm thinking in particular about Angelo Boscariol and Sisto Brunetti, who very often played henchmen roles and were often involved in scenes with a certain degree of fighting or manhandling. Massimo Ciprari played a few henchman roles, too, and is actually credited as a stand-in in Troll (1986) so may have been a stunt performer of some kind. Would love to know more about this!

A stuntman is an acrobat particularly skilled in pretending falls, dives, jumps and in the most dangerous scenes. Dirving a chariot or riding a horse is not part of the specific job of a stuntman, or all the horseman actors automatically activate stunts. And not even participate in a skirmish. A stunt is one who falls from a running horse, one who knows how to take a punch in the face and fall into a ditch without breaking the bone of his neck. Casadei, but above all Foti, who was chubby and not athletic, are not stuntmen.

Dante Maggio was never a stuntman, he was always a credited supporting actor doing mostly comedic roles, similar to his brother Enzo (somehow not to be confused with stuntman Vincenzo, who may or may not be related to the other 2)

I would add Tony Casale, whose work in peplums was definitely more stunts than generico

Angelo Casadei I would say is a borderline case, he was an athlete before becoming an actor and played plenty of "guard" and "soldier" type roles, but generally of the non-fighting variety

Otherwise looks like a pretty complete list
