Walter Williams in Dottor Jekyll e gentile signora (1979)
Jekyll Gentile Signora - Walter Williams.jpg

Alias: Walter Wright Williams, Walter Williams Wright, Robert Buchanan.

Presumably either American or British, Walter Williams was a character actor who spent his entire career in Italy, appearing in several Italian films as well as international productions shot in Italy. His earliest known roles date back to the early 1960s, at which point he went under the name Robert Buchanan, but as of the mid 60s, he went by Walter Williams. His most prominent roles were in La decima vittima (1965) and Dottor Jekyll e gentile signora (1979).

On the film Fräulein Doktor (1969) he is credited as a dialogue coach, and it's quite possible he also took on that job uncredited in other films.

I Spy (TV series), season 2, episode 9: "Bridge of Spies" (1966) as Dr. Mattison. It's one of the several episodes of this American TV series that were shot in Italy.

Another Mario Bava film: Diabolik (1968) as Man in charge of the gold

Fräulein Doktor (1969) as German general

He's not credited for this brief non-speaking role, but does instead get a credit as dialogue coach

Very nice comedic role in Dottor Jekyll e gentile signora (1979) as Top President of P.A.N.T.A.C. He's credited here as Walter Wright Williams.

And looking rather different in Martin Eden (1979) (TV mini series) as an old revolutionary who befriends Martin Eden (he didn't have a character name as far as I could make out)
Martin Eden - Walter Williams1.jpg
Martin Eden - Walter Williams2.jpg

He also appears in another scene which is inexplicably missing from the German version I used to make pics, but the scene is present in the Italian version found on YouTube
Martin Eden - Walter Williams3.jpg

As are the credits where he is listed as Walter Williams Wright (he's not included in the German credits)
Martin Eden - Walter Williams4.jpg

And his last known role in L'isola del gabbiano (1981) (TV mini series) as Optician
