Harold Bradley in Maciste, il gladiatore più forte del mondo (1962)
bradley5 2.jpg

Multi-talented Harold Bradley is an American, a former professional football player, who moved to Italy in 1959 to study art and pursue careers in music and acting, getting his foot in the door of the latter by appearing in stuntman roles in a succession of peplum films.

He was born on October 13th 1929 in Chicago, USA. He died in Rome on April 13th 2021 at the age of 91.

Harold was still performing as a singer up until shortly before his death, while his last acting role was in 2016. His son Oliver did/does a good job of keeping his father in the public eye via his Facebook page, where he published details of concerts, videos and photos (there you can see a selection of pics from Harold's 90th birthday celebrations). Visit Harold's Facebook page, Harold Bradley: Actor, Singer & Visual Artist

There is a well-researched biography of Harold by Matt Blake on his The Wild Eye website, for which he interviewed Harold, so I feel sure the details can be relied upon. Rather than repeating all the details here I suggest you take a look at the page (our filmography, however, is a lot more complete).

Yvonne Monlaur's "18th century" costume never fails to make me laugh.

Maciste, l'eroe più grande del mondo (1963) credited, as Regia's servant. Harold should be credited here, but the US DVD print has no actor credits
