: Mike Morris in the Annuario degli attori 1984-85

Mike Morris was a German actor who was active in Italian films and television during the 1970s and 80s. He spent the majority of his career playing various German characters, including several Nazi roles, and shows up in quite a few uncredited roles.

The only piece of biographical information I've been able to find about him is small piece in Radiocorriere TV magazine from 1979, stating that he is German and that he has worked with Fellini. The team at the Cinema Italiano Database have also discovered that his real name was most likely Horst Detlev Weinert as he is credited under different variations of this name in a few films.

There are probably many more uncredited roles to be found for Mike, especially during the 1980s as there's currently a pretty large gap in his filmography between 1984 and 1990.

Carambola (1974) credited, as Bookmaker. This is an odd role to be credited for as Mike is only onscreen for a few seconds and has no dialogue.

La svastica nel ventre (1977) credited, as Herr Gruppenführer. This is the most substantial of Mike's Nazi roles. He plays the Nazi responsible for the deaths of the parents of the film's protagonist (played by Sirpa Lane).

Quel maledetto treno blindato (1978) credited, as Colonel Hauser. Just a short appearance in this famous WW2 movie in which all of Mike's dialogue is spoken in German.
