Thanks to the book "Fellini's Faces", finally I was able to discover the identity of this particular generico, who I have found, always uncredited, in many movies.

I found him for the first time in 2008, around the time in which I came here for the first time, then in more recent times I have found this old man everywhere. Finally reading the book, to my biggest surprise I found him, with his name.

So welcome to Antonio Marcolini, an old, bald generico, who has as a characteristic a ring on his hand (maybe he was a nobleman too?). It seems he was never credited anywhere.

For a casuality if you look at the first pic he is in the same position that in the Fellini's photo.


Here the first role with him, i found many many years ago as brothel client in Telefoni bianchi (1976)

Little speaking role in La supplente (1975) as Giuffrè's neighboor who scream because of the car of Giuffrè which is making rumors at night

As resturant customer in Paolo Barca maestro elementare praticamente nudista (1975) together with many other generici

As Lino Banfi's patient in La liceale, il diavolo e l'acquasanta (1979)

He plays a man who is having an injection on his back side

But the woman (sister in law of Banfi) who makes the injection doesn't want to see the ass of Antonio, so she does that with her eyes closed

And in that right moment Banfi put his head, so he received the injection right in his head !!!

And just look who is among the party guest in La Traviata (1968) !!!

In the sceneggiato Il furto della Gioconda (1978) a little speaking role with Maria Tedeschi in the same scene

The earliest role so far - year 1962! - in the Totò movie Il comandante. He appears at least 3 times in the movie, and if i remember right they have also give him a name (i have to check the movie, again)

And since Antonio makes so many movies, it is normal he fell a little asleep while filming the TV series FBI - Francesco Bertolazzi investigatore - episode 1: "Sparita il giorno delle nozze" (1970) as man at the funeral

Im just amazed by how many roles i can found for Antonio, he is everywhere and in every age !
In just one year we are closer to found 50 roles for him, which is incredible, if we consider for many generici it took 3-4 years to found 50 roles
