Ivy Holzer was an actress active in Italian films from the late 1950's and throughout the 60's (with maybe a couple of unconfirmed later appearances).
A few websites say she was born in Rome in 1940, but with no definite date or information where this originated it should be treated as unconfirmed. She is presumed to be still living.
Ivy was tall, usually blonde and with a notably long neck - somewhat similar in looks to other actresses of her generation like Annie Gorassini and Dina De Santis, with whom she was no doubt in competition for roles.
Her earliest known film roles come from 1958, after which she worked steadily for the next 12 years or so, working her way up from uncredited bit parts to a few leading roles from the mid-60's. She made some notable appearances in the peplum genre and had a flair for comedy which landed her roles in a number of productions with Totò and Franco & Ciccio. Like many other actresses of her generation she disappeared at the end of the sixties, with a couple of rumoured one-off later appearances in very obscure productions.
From her Italian Wikipedia and Tototruffa profiles it looks like she also worked quite extensively as a theatre actress.
I have found a number of undocumented early roles for Ivy, so it's quite possible there will be more to be found.
