Playing the female lead in a big international production opposite Frank Sinatra was certainly a big step up in her career. Her "introducing" credit does seem a bit ridiculous some 20 films into her career, but this probably was the first of her films to get widely seen by an international audience (although several of her peplums had certainly had releases around the world).
