Good evening everyone. Unfortunately, this new generation of bots emulate guests and they constantly changing addresses, and it's not possible to stop them like in the past by banning individual IP addresses or ranges of IPs. The only way to keep them from crawling the forum is to block them on the home page, hoping they'll eventually end up. That's why I had to prohibit guests from viewing the rest of the forum by requiring registration. Registration is now mandatory on every platform. I hope this way their number will stabilize at around a thousand, rather than around 10,000 as before. If that doesn't work, I need to rely on a paid IP filtering service. These bots, after all, are designed to force little sites to use services they didn't need before. They creating a customer. Best regards.

I've messaged Emiliano to let him know about the problem. When I logged in earlier it was saying there were over 10,000 users online, which is ridiculous when we never have more than a few hundred at the most. Hopefully it will be something he can fix, but probably not until at least Monday. I'll let you know as soon as I know something.

I could not enter the 4-5 times I tried during the day since now, getting a "SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

User Sql1243437 already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections [1203]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists."

Has anybody else been having problems with the site today? We seem to be having ridiculously high numbers of site visitors which seems to be causing problems opening pages.
