I'm quite sure this Golden Man is Ottorino Polentini THEN, in the Golden Men second edition (more bronze than golden, with green towels) there's Claudio Ruffini in the first three pics) PS: Just saw this was discussed before without a result.PeplumParadise wrote: ↑19/04/2021, 17:06Hmmm, maybe, I can definitely see similarities, particularly the mouth and head shape, but the nose and eyes seem somewhat different, so I'm not sure, what do others think?

Re: Il trionfo di Ercole (1964)
I see facial similarities to both Simmi and Polentini, but not enough to be certain of either. Images showing their bodies would certainly be of help to match up. Seeing those images all together I'm also doubtful about the ID from Un angelo per Satana.
Which one in that image is supposed to be Ruffini? In some of the other images maybe, but I don't see him at all in the one you posted

No offence intended, but I'm afraid I can't help any more...
Polentini has quite unique head shape looks, and he is the one here: http://www.pollanetsquad.it/scheda.php? ... e&cod=3846 - who matches this particularely headhape of the golden man in question perfectly. (And of course he's the guy in ´Angelo per Satana`.)
As for Ruffini, he's the musculous guy in the centre (on the left in the other pics not copied to here), as he was in very good form till the end-60s, as you may see from this other 1964 film:

I don't have any problem with the body, it's the face that doesn't seem at all like Ruffini to me, this guy seems much older than Ruffini in 64FatmanDan wrote: ↑12/08/2023, 21:31

Yes, that one can be him, but I don't think he is the same guy as in the other image. I may be wrong of course, he may just look very weird in that image, I don't recall the continuity from the scene - if the film ever appears in HD I will give the whole topic an overhaul

I don't know Polentini at all other than from your identifications, so let's see what others think.FatmanDan wrote: ↑12/08/2023, 21:31Polentini has quite unique head shape looks, and he is the one here: http://www.pollanetsquad.it/scheda.php? ... e&cod=3846 - who matches this particularely headhape of the golden man in question perfectly. I think it's possible that it could be him, I never said I didn't, but I also think Simmi is a possibility, they are fairly similar looking - which is why a body shot of either one of them would help with the ID
