: Consalvo Dell'Arti in Nel sole (1967)

Consalvo Dell'Arti was a small part actor, active in Italian films and television from the mid-1950's to the end of the 70's (with 2 odd credits in the 90's).

All available sources seem to be agreed that he was born on January 21st 1914 in Brindisi, Italy.

No other biographical details are currently known.

Consalvo's earliest-known role comes from 1955. His 50's filmography is currently rather sparse, so it would seem probable that there could be further undocumented roles to be found. Moving into the 60's he became very prolific throughout the decade, equally likely to be found in small character roles or background appearances. His work pace slowed somewhat in the 70's, though he continued to work steadily throughout the decade, seemingly retiring after 1979. He vanished completely throughout the 80's, but reappeared for 2 one off appearances in 1992 and 1996, before disappearing from the screen again, for good this time.

He died on November 30th 2005, aged 91.

I have found many undocumented appearances by Consalvo over the years and I'm sure there will still be more to come.
