Anna Manduchi was a very well-known character actress in fotoromanzi, who started her career in the early 1960s, it seems. She worked for the famous fotoromanzo publisher Lancio from 1963 until 1999, appearing in many hundreds of fotoromanzi, including several big and important roles.

In addition to her career in fotoromanzi, Anna also appeared in films and on television. The biggest role we've been able to find for her was her part as Mrs. Shane in the spaghetti western Vendo cara la pelle (1968), and she also has a credited role in the ultra rare TV series Diagnosi (1975).

She's gone in August 2008.[1]

Throughout her long career in fotoromanzi, Anna Manduchi usually played the heroine's mother (and the grandmother when she got older) or the kind-hearted maid. She almost always played sympathetic characters. Here are some examples:

She's also in the restaurant scene (together with countless of her generici colleagues) in the famous Spencer/Hill western comedy ...continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità (1971)
