: Enrique Fernández in El segundo poder (1976)

Enrique Fernández was a dwarf actor, active in Spanish films and television at least from the late 1960's into the early 80's.

No biographical details are currently known.

I had already been collecting images of some dwarf actors when I identified him and was able to add 2 roles to his filmography, so there are very likely more to find. He has a second IMDb page containing 2 listings under the name Enrique Fernandez "Sonio", and it seems "Sonio" was a nickname he went under. Unfortunately several of his credited movie roles look to be hard to find. IMDb lists several films shot in Mexico in his filmography, but these must almost certainly be a different actor of the same name.

Aquí están las vicetiples (1961) IMDb. There is an Enrique Fernández credited near the bottom of the cast list, but I could not see any dwarf actors in the film, so I think it must refer to someone else (it is a rather common Spanish name)

Crónicas de un pueblo (1971 TV series) The earliest role I have found for Enrique is in 2 consecutive episodes of this long-running TV series. He appears in episodes "La pirueta" parts 1 and 2, credited, as Cachivache.

La mansión de los Plaff (1979-1981 TV series) This was a rather cheaply produced series for very young children that ran between the years 1979-1981. I haven't been able to work out exactly how many episodes were produced. IMDb only lists 3 episodes, but on the RTVE website there are 10 episodes and I imagine there must be a lot more which are, presumably, lost. The episodes are titled by their original broadcast date, rather than by episode name or number. Of the 10 episodes on RTVE, Enrique appears and is credited in 8 in the role of Patuchas, a character who is hidden under a pink fur costume.

This series is currently Enrique's last known role.

31.05.1979 - In this episode only he is mis-credited as "Ricardo Fernandez", in all others he is credited as "Enrique"
