Iolanda Fortini in Trastevere (1971)

Iolanda Fortini has worked in the cinema since the early fifties but she's most know for her movie role as the "mother of Mr. Catellani" in Luciano Salce's Fantozzi (1975).

For many years, many film encyclopedias, IMDb, Wikipedia etc. claims that this role was played by Elena Tricoli, but this was a mistake. Before that we knew her name, we nicknamed her "Woman from Trastevere" because we start to investigate over her from that movie from 1970.

Iolanda Fortini was identified by our member Ciavazzaro on May 11, 2011 thanks to the fotoromanzo I romanzi della fontana - Felicità perduta (1964).
