Cho-Cha-Lung in the fotoromanzo Margot (1972)

Asian Generico.jpg

While not among the most prolific generici, this distinguished gentleman nevertheless tends to pop up whenever there's movie which requires generici of Asian heritage. He was played small roles in some fotoromanzi.

Ciavazzaro found him in a fotoromanzo published in the magazine Margot in 1972, in which he is credited under the name Cho-Cha-Lung, but this is probably a fake name.

Our friend (dressed in black) appears in several scenes in the Franco & Ciccio comedy 2 samuari per 100 geishe (1962) as one of Silvio Bagolini's henchmen

He's not credited, but the DCI and ANICA both list the following five actors with playing "Bandito Cinese": Tsuyoshi Chida, Vinh Phai, Vincent Tsao, Ho Fu Ling, Chulaitis Siubareni. I've managed to identify Ho Fu Ling and he's not our man, but he should be one of the other four, which means that Ho-Fu-Ling should be a fake name.

Anyway, he also appears in another Franco & Ciccio comedy: 00-2 agenti segretissimi (1964), where he has a fairly large role as a Chinese agent

Also a very tiny role alongside Gregorio Wu in the fotoromanzo Le avventure di Jacques Douglas N. 18: "SZ4 nell'isola dell'oblio" (March 1967)
