Juanita Jiménez was a small-part and background actress, active in Spanish films at least from the mid-1940's to early 1980's.

No biographical details are currently known. IMDb has her listed as "Juana Jiménez", but the credits as Juanita are slightly in the majority, so that is the name I have used for her topic. She also has a second IMDb page as "Juanita Giménez", a spelling she was credited with on 3 occasions.

Online sources have her career starting in the mid-1960's, but having found a role from 1946 we now know she was active much earlier. I had built up a small filmography for her as an unidentified actress before I identified her totally by chance while researching someone else. Her identification is confirmed by her being credited with role in an episode of Crónicas de un pueblo. Since most of the roles I already had saved for her were uncredited and undocumented then it seems likely that she worked more as a background actress.
