Giorgio Cerioni made his first known film appearance in 1957 and graduated from Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia two years later. He continued to work steadily, though hardly prolifically, through until his last known appearance in 1990.
The Westerns all'Italia blog mentions that he married Leda De Bruyn in 1962. Aside from this no biographical details are currently known. In the late 60's he sometimes used the pseudonym "George Greenwood".
The size of his roles varied greatly, from bit parts to a couple of leading roles in Giacobbe, l'uomo che lottò con Dio (1963) and La legge della violenza (1969), but there were often gaps of a year or two between appearances - which could mean there are some undocumented roles to be found. He turned up in many genres, but maybe of particular note are his appearances in 4 cult favourites from the short-lived nazisploitation genre from 1976-77, his ayran looks making him a natural choice to play nazis.
