Sandalio Hernández was a small part and background actor, active in Spanish films at least from the mid-1950's to the late 1970's (with a one-off later role in 1990).

No biographical details are currently known.

In the 50's and early 60's he appeared in films clean shaven or with moustache, but from around 1963 onwards he maintained a definitive distinctive look of a head of thick long-ish hair, usually dyed jet black, and a shaggy beard, usually left mostly white. I already had him identified in 12 background roles, in addition to the 15 roles listed by IMDb, so it looks like he worked mostly as a generico. He has 3 roles where he plays an organist or pianist, so it's possible he was also a musician.
